Cookie Butter Latte: My latest coffee obsession!!

As we are slowly saying goodbye to winter, I figured I better find an alternative to my favorite winter drink the caramel brulee latte (which you can also find a recipe for under drinks!) This is the perfect step into spring and summer!

Total Time 5 minutes
Course: Drinks

Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso (usually ends up being 1/2c or so I use blonde!
  • ~3/4 c milk (I use oat, it's so much better for lattes)
  • 1 tbsp caramel sauce (optional) whatever is in a squeeze bottle I think works best because it's thinner
  • 1-2 tbsp Biscoff Cookie Butter found near the peanut butter!
  • 1/4 c brown sugar oat creamer

Method

  1. The first step is to make your espresso. I use a Nespresso, you can find the machine I use linked below under Walmart and Amazon.
  2. Before you brew your espresso, put 1-2 Tbsp of Biscoff Cookie Butter in your espresso cup so that when your espresso comes out of the machine it will start melting the cookie butter. It is very important that you stir the cookie butter into the hot espresso until it's completely melted, otherwise you're going to have chunks of the cookie butter flying up your straw.
  3. Once the cookie butter is completely melted in your espresso, put it is your drinking cup and add about 3/4 c of milk (do 1/2c to start out to make sure you like how it tastes).
  4. Then add your ice, I love filling my cup pretty full.
  5. Finally you can top it off with about 1/4 c of brown sugar oat creamer!!
  6. I hope you love it as much as I do!!
  7. If you wanted to add a drizzle of caramel around the inside of your cup, you will want to do that before the liquid and ice.
