Easy Crunchy Chili Oil: Recipes & Tips

You might think that Crunchy Chili Oil may be for only Asian cuisine, but that is simply not true! You can put this crunchy chili oil on basically anything! I love to pair it with something cooling such as a goat cheese, ricotta, or cottage cheese on toast.
You can make a huge batch of this and keep it in your pantry for daily use!
If you do not have all of the ingredients or need to substitute items, I say go for it. The best way to become a better cook is to play around with different things and see how they all work together!
My favorite recipe using this oil is linked HERE

Ingredients
Method
- Heat your oils (avacado & sesame oil) in a pot to 330 F.
- Combine ALL other ingredients in a bowl that can withstand the heat of the oil. I recommend using a deep bowl so the oil doesn't get everywhere.
- When the oil is to the right temperature, slowly pour it over the mixture in the bowl and mix it around. It's going to sizzle, so be careful. You may even want to wear an oven mitt pouring the oil into the bowl. It's really not as scary as I am making it out to be but I'd rather you be aware it does pop and sizzle. Frying bacon on a stovetop is WAY scarier!
- Let it sit until cooled, and put in a jar to store. I have kept mine in my pantry for weeks and haven't had a problem! Of course if you see mold or if it starts smelling rancid, it's definately time to toss it.
- Use on eggs, toast, noodles, vegetables, and so much more!
