The only chocolate chip cookie recipe you’ll ever need

These chocolate chip cookies are thin but not paper thin, and soft and chewy on the inside. Not like biting a fortune cookie but also not like biting into a slice of cake, more like the best crispy on the outside gooey on the inside brownie.. but cookie. I love finding staple recipes and this one is definitely worthy of that title.

They are also soooo easy to make, you can’t mess it up

Okay enough chit chat I’ll start giving instructions

First melt the butter and then put it in the snow for 10 minutes, or the freezer

Then cream together the sugar and butter until fluffy

Then add your eggs and vanilla and cream

Then add your flour in little by little

Add in your chocolate chips, make sure to measure with your heart

arrange on your sheet pan, i can fit 12 on my 11×17

and then I scoop the remaining amount of the pan, freeze it, and transfer the cookie balls in a bag to store in the freezer till i want to make more

Add 1 egg , and 1 yolk, 1 tbsp heavy cream, and 2.5 tsp vanilla and mix again.
Little by little add in the flour mixture till all incorporated using the mixer.
I like to add chocolate chips using my heart but use a guideline of a cup and fold them in with a spatula
Line on a baking sheet and bake at 350F for 10 minutes
