Ultimate Guide to Comfortable Overalls and Shortalls
All of a sudden I am an overall girly. It kind of just happened overnight and here’s the reason why. They are literally so so so comfy and easy to put on!! I also love how it doesn’t put any pressure on my belly, which is aggravating for me wearing pants. I’ll share with you what I love and don’t lov1e about them!
Gap Overalls (Best quality overalls)
These are definitely the best quality overalls I own. The material is really thick and I know they are going to hold up well. I am wearing a size XL long, but truthfully should have ordered a L regular. They are already a loose fit, so you don’t have to worry about the fit being tight. I’ll probably end up ordering them in a large or later. These are still the ones I wear the most because they are great for everyday wear! So comfy.
The pocket situation on this pair is also phenomenal. There are at least 5 pockets or actually I think more which is so helpful!!
Gap Shortalls (Best Quality Shortalls)
So because they are essentially the same thing as the gap overalls, these are easily the best quality and fit as well for the short version. I have to note that the front chest pocket is not as great as the overall version because it only has tiny pockets and not a large one behind them. It does have pockets at the hips though too. I am wearing an XL
Walmart Shortalls #1 (preferred walmart pair)
If you’re trying to pick between these next 2 pairs from Walmart, I recommend this one. It compares more to the gap pair, is thicker & better jean quality, and I just think the fit is better. I like the chest pocket on this one because it’s one big pocket. It also does have hip pockets too. I had to size up to XXL because they are juniors.

Walmart Shortalls #2
I’d say the only thing this one has going for it is that they are cute. The quality is not there, but I did still buy them keep in mind haha. I don’t expect them to last a super long time, but they are cute. The pockets suck I’m not gonna lie, half the pockets are just for show lol They definitely are on the thinner side for jean quality. I had to size up to XXXL because they are juniors.

Amazon Overalls.
I am genuinely so impressed with this pair of overalls!! I didn’t really know what to expect because I don’t order clothing from Amazon often. They are just about as thick and great quality as the gap ones. I got these because they are a little more form fitting and can wear them on like a date lol! I love the dark color of the Jean and they also have pretty good pockets too!! I am wearing a size XL.
